Auto Edit Name on creation of certain elements

I keep causing myself problems as I'm so used to all other software going into edit name mode as soon as you create a new item that I create a data property or similar in rive then just start typing, as the first thing you want to do is name it. Trouble is rive doesn't go into edit name of object mode so I start doing all sorts of odd keyboard shortcuts. Is this something that could be added to a preference toggle or something?
